Barista by day and potter by night!

Clay became my passion, initially starting as a mere hobby. Every week, I eagerly attended classes, where I was fortunate enough to forge connections with incredible women. Amidst our lively conversations, fuelled by classic melodies and our hands covered in clay, we exchanged ideas and indulged in delightful gossip.

As time went on, I began to grasp the vastness of knowledge waiting to be discovered and the sheer magic of transforming nothingness into something tangible. It was this captivating realisation that ignited my energy and fuelled my imagination.

Gradually, I found my own unique niche and built my business around the concept of crafting the perfect mug for every individual.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and an ambition to create larger, more impressive pieces, I decided to enhance my skills by enrolling in a wheel forming course at TAFE NSW. Under the expert guidance of Jane Barrows, I learned invaluable techniques and tricks of the trade. This experience made a world of difference in my growth as a potter and creator.

The past couple of years have been an absolute whirlwind! From getting married to the love of my life, Mr. King, and becoming Mrs. King, to the joyous arrival of our precious baby boy, Bowie, it feels like life has been on fast-forward mode. It's been an incredible journey filled with love, growth, and countless precious moments.

In the midst of all this excitement, I've also managed to establish my very own home studio, a true sanctuary for me. This studio has become a space where I can not only pursue my own creative endeavours, but also nurture and guide others in unlocking their artistic potential. As I've always been passionate about ceramics, this studio has become the perfect avenue for me to share my love for this art form and help others discover their own unique expressions.
